HPELive is partnering with the Hawaii Food Bank, Hawaii’s Credit Unions and Lanakila Meals on Wheels to host this great event. A plethora of activities is planned including cook-offs, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a SPAM musubi eating contest, a competition to build the Guinness World Record Spam Musubi, plus lots of rice dishes for everyone to enjoy. The 2011 Rice Festival will also be featuring the new book ‘The Hawaii Book of Rice’ by Cheryl Chee Tsutsumi. Several recipes from her book will be recreated for the cook-offs.
10’ x 10’ food booth spaces are available for $300 and 10’ x 10’ non-food booth spaces are available for $400. Each 10’ x 10’ booth will be piped and draped and will include one table, two chairs, and up to ten name badges.  Also available are 20’ x 20’ food booth spaces for $450 and 20’ x 20’ non-food booth spaces for $600.
