Vaihi

Vaihi (the Tahitian word for Hawai`i; it also means “springing water”) began its musical journey 21 years ago with a clear vision to offer up incredible original compositions, fantastic harmonies laced with signature-style beatbox and unforgettable live performances. Vaihi has never strayed from its formula which is evident on their 8 full length album releases. With two Best Polynesian Album of the Year awards and numerous Nā Hōkū Hanohano nominations to their credit, the boys continue to do what they do best – sing, play, dance, talk story and laugh to no end!

Aaron Ka`onohi is both lead guitar and lead songwriter. He is accompanied by the crazy vocals and beatbox talents only Bruddah Sam Langi can provide. Rounding out the trio is the sure, steady bass rhythm of Cody Hashimoto. Kanile`a `Ukulele is proud to sponsor these fine musicians.
